The precise optical positioning of the high-throughput (field emission) scanning electron microscope can accurately locate any point on the entire sliced wafer (150mm*150mm), to within 500 nanometers. That helps customer to locate the region of interest between subsequent slices, which is crucial for the collection of brain atlas micro data.

At present, in the Institute of Automation laboratory, three such scanning electron microscopes are used to form a scanning electron microscope group to perform large-scale microscopic brain atlas data imaging work. Take a cubic millimeter block of nerve tissue as an example, if you use traditional scanning electron microscopes for collection, imaging time is roughly more than 8 years. However, the imaging time is only about 4 months when using a group of three scanning electron microscopes. This greatly saves time and cost.
